Kim Fuller is a Yoga Instructor and Free Lance writer for the Vail Athletic Club. We asked Kim a few questions about herself so our members could get to know her!
Why do you like working at the Vail Athletic Club?
It’s a great community of both locals and visitors. I love the central location, and the top-tier team of coaches, trainers, therapists and yoga instructors.
Where and how were you educated?
I have a degree in journalism, and work full time as a freelance writer. After many years of practicing yoga, I took yoga teacher training in Costa Rica in 2012.
Why did you choose this profession?
I love teaching yoga because it connects the whole body and mind to movement and consciousness.
What do you like best about your job?
I love the continuity of the students who come back, week after week, and all the great teachers who I constantly learn from.
What are you most skilled in treating?
I am most skilled in teaching yoga to athletes.
What types of clients respond the best to your treatment?
Athletic, enthusiastic and willing individuals.
What is your favorite activity to reduce stress?
Moving my body in nature.
What is the most important thing you can tell someone about their health?
Keep moving.
How do you explain what you do in 50 words?
As a yoga teacher and a freelance writer, I am always excited to share movement and words with the world. I find inspiration for teaching and writing through a love of nature, paired with the power of igniting energy, language connection. I have a love for outdoor activities that yoga complements — running, biking, hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowshoeing — and I also enjoy keeping up with my interests in photography, guitar, reading and cooking. Join me for a deep, heartfelt flow — breaking through blocks for new pathways to an authentic and empowered existence.
